Mail scanner will remove email viruses and spam, and is installed on all our web hosting servers. You can be assured that our spam filtering and anti-virus protection features will safeguard your emails and your computer.

To configue Mail Scanner, login to your web hosting control panel. When configuring the mail scanner (last icon in your web hosting control panel) it is advisable to set 'yes' to virus scanning and 'No' to deliver cleaned emails.

Mail scanner will give each email a detection setting, 5 for low scoring spam and 20 for high scoring spam. These settings can be changed in the 'other settings' link with the configuration icon, but it is unadvisable to alter them.

Some email address's (usually from Asian or Russian countries) are automatically read and blocked by the mail scanner. These email address's if known to be genuine can be added to your 'white list' via the link in the mail scanner configuration icon. Known bogus email address's can be added to the 'black list' which will automatically remove these emails.
